Five Reasons Why Your Business Needs Branded Calendars

Wall calendar

One of the effective marketing tools used by businesses is branded calendars which usually contain the brand logo, product pictures, and other necessary details. A calendar is a chart or sequence of pages showing the days, weeks, months, and some public holidays/special events of a specific year. It can be designed in different ways but the most popular ones are Wall and Table or desk calendars.

Uses of a Calendar

  1. Tracking- Calendars are great for keeping tabs on events and activities.
  2. Identification- With them, recognition of days, weeks, and months is made possible.
  3. Planning- Scheduling of activities is made easy with them.

Why you should make calendars

Over time, many businesses have come up with the idea of making branded calendars. These kinds of calendars often contain the usual days, weeks, and months of a specific year but they also include the logo and other necessary details about the business. To make it more pleasing to the eye, some of these brands add images of a few of their products and services.

Are you a business owner still unsure why you should join the bandwagon? Here are a few reasons;

1. Good Promotional items

Handing out promotional items is one thing, but offering good promotional items your audience will find very useful is another vital thing. Everybody uses calendars, and most people have at least one at home. And I bet you that a large portion of them was given out as promotional items. They can also be used to appreciate your customers.

2. Increases brand awareness

At times, what a business might need to increase its visibility could be a calendar. A well-designed calendar easily gets the attention of people. The more people look at it, even if it’s for the sole aim of tracking an event, the better awareness they get regarding your brand. A calendar also provides the opportunity to put your brand in front of different people and at multiple locations, such as the calendar placed in the house and the one they put that is placed on a desk at work.

3. Keeps your business in the minds of Clients/Prospects

Since calendars are visited almost every day, it makes your business seen almost every day too. Clients and prospects are unconsciously reminded of you once the need arises for any of your services, you immediately pop up in their minds.

4. Useful marketing tool

Wherever calendars are hung or placed, they perform the function of spreading the news about your business. If you’ve got new products or even the old ones and you need to inform people about them, making a calendar containing these pictures would be a brilliant idea.

5. Gives easy access

Branded calendars usually contain the brand logo, contact address, and other necessary details about the business.  This helps clients and prospects to seamlessly access them once the need arises. They can easily look up their walls or the table calendars placed on their office desk to contact the business.

Imagine having a client show up at your store to thank you for the calendar you gave him. He further narrates how he almost missed his flight but for the fact that he looked up his walls to behold your calendar and suddenly noticed that his flight was scheduled for that same day. The importance of calendars to business owners should therefore never be underestimated.

Essential Tips For Designing a Premium Letterhead

Image showing letterheads

In a highly digital world, it is not uncommon to think that letterheads are of little or no relevance. On the contrary, the use of letterheads takes your business to a higher level of professionalism and portrays it as up to the task.

Even though a larger percentage of business owners now communicate often using phones and emails, there is still some business communication for which letterheads are considered appropriate. This could be a letter of appointment/employment offer, an agreement between you and a supplier or business partner, and lots more.

Whatever function you’ll love your letterhead to perform, it is still worthy of note that great efforts be put into ensuring that they are good-looking and presentable. This is because they speak volumes about your brand wherever they are seen.

Here are a few tips for creating a Premium letterhead that speaks high of your brand.

1. Choose the Necessary Information

Letterhead design for a brand

Your letterhead should contain adequate information about your business. In doing so, it is important you prioritize which information should be on your letterhead. You don’t want to make your letterhead look too irritating to your clients, right? Basically, information such as your business name, logo, address, phone numbers, and email address should never be missing on your letterhead. Of course, you could include other necessary details you deem fit.

2. Choose the Right Font

Branded letter

You would agree that it’s not lucid enough if readers have to take a second look to be able to read what is on your letterhead. Worse still, if readers cannot even see the information on your letterhead, that isn’t good enough. So, when choosing a font, ensure it’s such that is clear enough. You might decide to use the one your company is used to for more brand consistency. Whatever font you choose, clarity should be one of the basic determinants.

3. Choose your Brand Colors

To get a good-looking letterhead, your colors must align with that of your brand. That is, there should be a form of alignment in your colors. For instance, if your brand colors are white and blue, it’ll be unwise to print letterheads using gold and purple colors.

4. Choose your Layout

Invoice

You can be creative about this but remember to keep it minimal. Your letterhead design should not be in competition with the wordings, it should rather act as support. The most common layout is the Header and Footer. This restricts the design to only the top and bottom of the page. However, if you would like to use other layouts, you could check our over 1000 templates on our website.

5. Use Quality Paper

The quality of your letterhead paper would go a long way to helping your clients and prospects figure out how competent, professional, and reliable your business is.  It is therefore advisable that you use weighty papers. This would further make your brand stand out from the rest. Beyond that, ensure that it has a smooth and neat finishing. Anything different may just put off your clients and give a bad first impression about you and the services you offer.
