Printivo Meets Amina Ebele Of Deli Deli Foods

It all started when she took to twitter to unleash her delight in the quality of product and service she just received from Printivo. Amina’s testimony caught our attention (even though countless customers before her had done something similar). But on this particular occasion, we could practically feel the aura of her excitement from the screen of our computers the moment her notification popped up via twitter.

Amina's reaction about printivo on twitter
Seems we weren’t the only ones who felt the vibe.

Not wanting to let this slip away, we quickly got in touch with Amina- the founder of Deli Deli foods to share her experience and provide a bit of background.
This resulted into a 10-question long interview aimed at knowing more about her personality, her business and her encounter with us. And this Gourmet expert didn’t disappoint as she gave very interesting and succinct answers to each.
See things for yourself below.
1. “I know you keep hearing this question, but did you see yourself as a Chef growing up?”
Hmmm…I honestly don’t remember who or what I wanted to be. I was too busy being a Child and worrying less about the future but from day one, I always enjoyed cooking, it was natural.
2. Tell us about when you failed.
I’ve failed several times and each failure was a catalyst for me to come stronger, I had to question myself asking what went wrong and how I can be better.
3. What’s your greatest fear?
Going to hell. No seriously, I take my religion very seriously.
4. “What’s your mission in life?”
To achieve my dreams basically, whatever I set I would like to accomplish as I am very dogged and determined.
5. “What inspired you to start Deli Deli Foods?”
The need to have another stream of income when they started laying off staff in the banking sector and  I was tired of cooking for people for free as I had received many recommendations, I decided to go into the fast food industry to see what I can do and I haven’t looked back since.
6. How do you manage your time and get so much done?
I take Scheduling seriously and time management is all about scheduling.
7. What is/are your candid impression(s) about young people today?
They have a lot more opportunities than we did and can learn and adapt faster to changes.
8. What’s your take on the Nigerian Startup scene?
Not enough new ideas. Too many recycled ones. Not enough effort to ‘stand out’ or have differentiators.
9. How did you get to know Printivo, what was the first item you printed and what’s your take on the service?
Got to know Printivo via Twitter. My complimentary cards was what I needed to print as I was due for a meeting and I had run out of cards. Fantastic service, delivery was done as promised and price was fair. The quality too was amazing!
10. On a scale of 1-10, how would you recommend others to use the service?
I would say a 9, it really is an innovative service and I would recommend to my friends.

Since conducting this interview few days ago, Amina has placed two more order including an X-banner and a food menu card which she intends using for an event in two days time. Now that’s an attribute of a happy customer!
